With rather anemic voter turnout in the last month (44 and 30 votes, respectively), Paul and my polls for 2013 have produced only ten qualifiers for this "final" runoff for the most favored album of that year. Let's see who tops this one!

Good year for prog!
Hard to choose from this group. Fish best in years, my buddy John's first outing as Lifesigns, BBT's second part of the English Electric series... actually I could go on. I chose The Raven That Refused to Sing. I felt that truly established Steven's place in my heart for all time.

Not a fan of any I know here. I do like most Porcupine Tree and some Wilson material, but the Raven doesn't do it for me; to me it sounds like a calculated attempt to satisfy a certain audience or to do a certain "style study" rather than an authentic expression.

Haken ahead of BBT.
I'm not that keen on The Raven That Refused to Sing, much preferring Hand. Cannot. Erase.

Lifesigns for me. English Electric 2 is nowhere nears as good as the first part for me and although I do like Raven is does sound like it was the product of a computer that has been asked to design a classic 70’s dark prog lp (as Hercules alludes to)
