I just finished watching the first season of The Wheel of Time on Amazon Prime.  Have any of you seen it yet?  If yes, what did you think?

I've only read the first 4 books.  I am just starting the 5th book.  Overall, I enjoyed the first season, but there are definitely some changes from the book that were let's say "concerning".  More "romance" occurred in the series than were in the first books.  The ending was pretty disappointing.  They also seem to have killed off some continuing characters at the end of the last episode that are part of the later stories, so I am not sure where they are going with that.
