The Emerald Dawn:
The Emerald Dawn are a multi-instrumentalist, symphonic progressive rock quartet, who combine elements from classical music, jazz and rock to produce their own original, distinctive and exciting sound—a sound that is cinematic, epic, experimental and powerful. Usually haunting, often beautifully melodic and always highly atmospheric, the music of The Emerald Dawn paints images or tells stories that stimulate the imagination and takes the listener on unforgettable musical journeys.

Discography:

Visions (21/08/2017)
Nocturne (01/02/2019)
To Touch The Sky (20/03/2021)

So far I've only heard To Touch the Sky and it was one of my top albums from last year. I shall certainly dig out the previous 3 albums sometime soon.

I quite liked, though not loved, their debut and sophomore albums. Gotta listen to the rest!

I recently bought To Touch the Sky. Diggin' every minute of it! I'll have to sample their other material once my music budget recovers from recent buys.

Budget recovery for me too. The other three albums imho are incredible and well worth checking out.

Searching for the Lost Key has two great tracks: Buridan's Lament and Shadow in Light. Visions and Nocturne have some good moments, but these did not really click with me. To Touch the Sky is their best effort so far: an album which fits perfectly in the top 10 of any AotY 2021 list.

Yes those two tracks are great. I think are both incredible albums imho and TTTS is an incredible all round album.

I played Nocturne for the first time last night and again today. I think I prefer it slightly to To Touch the Sky. Looking forward to playing their first 2 albums next. Has anyone seen them live?
