A to Z of Classic German Prog

Returning to Cristi's Krautrock/Jazz Rock debate (and why not) these are ten German Jazz Rock bands I know of who I'd also consider to be Krautrock:-

^ Living up to my newly-acquired sobriquet of Captain Obvious, I suggest that many bands can't conveniently be pigeon-holed into just one genre. Take the uniqueness of Porcupine Tree's music for instance, who have variously been described as Neo Prog, Heavy Prog, Psychedelic/Space Rock or Progressive Metal, or in Steven Wilson's own words, it's simply Porcupine Tree music.

Passport is a jazz-rock fusion band, not Krautrock. Same with Missus Beastly. Have you even listened to these two bands? I don't think so. Otherwise you would not be arguing again.
