How so?
I like Gentle Giant.
As for Genesis, I'm sure our ratings would be different for certain albums.
It seems even when I agree with you, you still want to disagree with me. Tongue

I don't want to disagree with you, that's ridiculous, but I just happen to have a different opinion, that's all.

my "old antics"? What does that even mean?
I'm not accusing you of trolling (not in this situation), just trying to understand your ratings.

Well, it seems you're accusing me of something here. LOLConfused

Just sad that you rated Nucleus rather low, that's all.
I believe I was scrupulously fair with my Nucleus ratings, bearing in mind I gave a 3-star rating to all of their studio albums and a 4-star rating to all of their much better live albums. My only criticism of their studio albums is it's hard to differentiate one album from another as they all sound very similar. Confused

Again, I'm not accusing you of anything.
If I started rating much lower than yourself a band that you love, you'd probably say the same thing, I hope.
I've just taken a look at your Special Collaborator ratings and needless to say, I definitely disagree with your dismal 1-star rating for Peter Panka's Jane. Tongue

Special Collaborator ratings? You're reading something wrong there. They're just ratings.
I know we disagree on that.

what does "pretty decent" mean? Average? Not bad? Ok album?
A 3-star rating for me means "good", or to be more precise, good enough to want to listen to the album again but not good enough to want to rush out and buy it.  I think I've heard you use the term "pretty decent" too  in the past to describe a good album. Smile

Yeah, but to me "decent" is harsher than your take on it. If i ever used the word "decent", it less positive than yours.

A 3-star album is still a good album, but I prefer their 4-star live albums. Smile

you've rated albums you disliked with 3 stars. What am I to think when you've done that?!Confused

I can't think of an instance where I've given a 3-star rating to an album I dislike. If I don't like an album, then I generally give it a 2-star rating, or in the case of Robert Wyatt's dreadful "End Of an Ear" album, a 1-star rating.

you've admitted yourself 3 stars is a low rating (for you). Now you say you didn't. Way to confuse people. Ouch
