I've been looking for this EP ("Tales of the Turquoise Umbrella" by Eyes of Mind) for quite some time now, but I'm guessing it just is one of those hard to find things these days. I got it as a promo from the record store I worked at way back in the mid 1980's. Psychedelic pop just wasn't heard of much at the time, so I wasn't quite sure what to make of it then, but it is one record that I now wish I would have held on to especially now with psychedelic music being such a big thing.

Nina Hagen - Naturträne
This 1978 Nina Hagen song is reminscent to me of 1982's "Leopard's Dream" from the Moroder Cat People soundtrack as well as Focus' Hamburger Concerto. Posting a studio embed and link to a live versio for German TV version (1979). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IqgcByaNyhc Edited by Logan - December 21 2021 at 15:12 |

Jaw dropping ! And dare I say...a tad disturbing given the apparent age of the male protagonist. |

I think I'm enjoying this way more than I should.
Hellsongs with a very upbeat cover of Symphony of Destruction. |
