I've always been a bit mystified by how to apply the term "guilty pleasures".

If it refers to the dictionary meaning "something, such as a film, television program, or piece of music, that one enjoys despite feeling that it is not generally held in high regard." then I have a myriad "guilty pleasures".

If it refers to music I might be ashamed to admit I like, then nothing fits into that category for me. If I like a piece of music I have no qualms admitting that I like it.

^ They had a habit of making the opening track of their albums (or at least the first five) an ear shattering no-nonsense rocker: Good Times Bad Times / Whole Lotta Love / Immigrant Song / Black Dog / The Song Remains the Same - it doesn't get much better than that.

I'm pretty sure I would've chosen the same ten favourite Led Zeppelin songs as you if I hadn't chosen a favourite song from each of ten albums. Smile

'Immigrant Song' should have been on my list too - it pained me leaving that out as we were restricted to 10.
"Immigrant Song" was an absolute must for inclusion on my Top 10 list, whichever way I put the list together. I only just noticed it wasn't on your list too, but maybe you could migrate "Immigrant Song" onto your list belatedly. Smile

Guilty Pleasures thread is actually a good idea. Who takes the initiative?

Ironically, one of my Guilty Pleasures is Barbra Streisand & Barry Gibb's "Guilty Pleasures" album. Embarrassed

We have a match on six out of ten favourites, proving once again that we have similar tastes in music. Thumbs Up

Isn't that from led zeppelin I?

Yes, but the Coda version is different. From memory, it's a live recording.
