Eyyyy!

I'm wondering if my 3-song EP would be of interest to any of you legends for review. The piece "Racinate" is probably the standout. It's kinda like steve reich but with mathy-proggy vibes. some friends have said it's like "wholesome metal" :P

Would really be interested to hear about any thoughts/feelings you have - positive/negative! ;)

Also, I'll be releasing more music in the coming year. So yeeaashhh.

Warm regards,

Dash Russell

Only listened to Racinate, so far, but I like what I’ve heard. Kind of reminds me of a stripped back, minimalist Alarmist with vocals.

The vocals remind me a little of Daniel Johns - not in sound, so much as style, approach and manner. Or maybe, Paul Dempsey of Something For Kate?

I like both the music and the vocals, and I wouldn’t really have expected one with the other, as they are quite disparate styles, so I quite like the juxtaposition of the two.

a tad mathy, really ambitious
partially reminds me of King Crimson and Fabrice Bony

reviews are solely feasible when your project was evaluated and added to the archives, sorry ...

Hey Nick,
Thanks so much for your kind words. I can see what you mean with your 'sounds like' links. Maybe it's an Aussie thing :P And yeah it's a weird combo of styles eh.
You're the man!

heers, i feel encouraged. Good to know there are others who like 'out there' music :P
Spot on with the King Crimson similarity, i love them!

And ah, may i ask, how does music get evaluated/added to the archives?
