Instead of Acting Very Strange and being Wise After the Event, I'll make an early prediction that Please Don't Touch will win this second album poll. Hello, I Must Be Going. Smile

A toss up between Hackett and Gabriel. Hackett wins it handily on so many levels.

Hackett with Gabriel a close second, Collins a distant third.

I thought The Fugitive was the second Tony Banks album.

The Wicked Lady soundtrack preceded The Fugitive by just a couple of months. Smile

Some very good songs on all of these, but Please Don't Touch seems the most solid overall while also containing the highest highs (Richie Havens, Randy Crawford, Steve Walsh--all extraordinary performances).

I'm not completely sure about this one. I hesitated between Steve Hackett - Please Don't Touch and Anthony Phillips - Wise After The Event. About some hesitation I decided by Anthony Phillips - Wise After The Event.

Gabriel......after Hackett's first I was disappointed in the later ones.

I wouldn't say I'm a huge fan of any of these but I think Wise After The Event has the most songs I remember fondly

Mr. Hackett, closely followed by Mr. Phillips.
Welcome to the middle of the film.

First vote for Phil!  If you take away "Can't Hurry Love," it becomes a pretty decent record.
I like Hackett's album, but it has so many votes already.

Yes, I know this is a serious prog site.

If we were going progressive, the choice would be Peter.  A definite progression from what was going on before.

Please Don't Touch is a mixture of utter crap and genius, but it wins this.

As much as I love Please Don't Touch, it can't compare to Wise After the Event, which is a masterpiece for the ages!

Yes, I know this is a serious prog site.

But Seriously, I have more albums by Phil Collins than any other Genesis member, which is Against All Odds. Hello, I Must Be Going before the brickbats start flying. Tongue
