God, it took you 2 whole days to come up with a copycat? I'll play them right after I'm done listening to Klaatu !On with The Beatles!
Nope, I've posted about them before. Do a search, genius.
So are you finally going to concede Rush has influenced other bands, not just "inspired" them?
And FFS, stop moving the goalposts.
You're too much but you do make me laugh. look dum dum, these are copycat sound alike bands whose raison d'être (look that up, genius) is to sound like Rush! That's not influence, it's pastiche! For every one of these sound alike clones, I can name you five. Now, why don't you concede that what you know about music couldn't fill a shot glass and give it up. Unless you're trying to make bust a gut by laughing at you. Unbelievable!
Dude, you just got owned. I just posted THREE examples of Rush-influenced bands. Let's see your "five." I can't wait.
Leger de Main isn't a "copycat" band, regardless of how heavy the influence. Listen to Chris Rodler's arrangements and Melissa Blair's vocal style. Listen to both albums in their entirety: The Concept of Our Reality and Second First Impression (which is less derivative).
Take your insults and shove 'em where there ain't no moonshine!

Rolling in flowers! Omg! i'm sorry to get nasty with you, but you're just beyond with this stuff. Leger (the Rodler (?) bros) made a career out of copying different prog groups to T, such as cloning KC, Floyd and Rush, and couldn't come up with something original if their life depended on it. Look, I concede to end this because I need oxygen and my side hurts!! You win!!!

David this guy is bringing Rush cover bands into the argument. I can't take him seriously. We might as well say that every Juke box band is an inspiration for prog metal. As soon as I catch my breath I'll lay the truth on him.

As soon as you catch your breath? Are you on oxygen? Well, don't hurt yourself typing or anything.
Now here's the deal with sound alike bands like the Rodler Bros. That are one step away from the cover bands that they were. What they mimic is what their name sound alike implies. That involves guitar tone and effects, bass tones and effects, keyboard/synth tones and programming that sounds like their heroes. It's the sound of that band with little variation. The vocals may sound like Geddy Lee even. He might even use the same phrasing. But the music they make does not sound like Rush. You have confused how the band sounds with style, technique and the music they produce with that of Rush. That's why I said that the Rodler Bros couldn't come up with an original sound if their life depended on it. They do make original music, but it's not even close to Rush and that's where inspiration overrides influence. The music may not even be bad but it's not influenced by Rush. So, you stay confused about sound alike artists or you can see them for what they really are. But we know you're not that brave.

You're just moving goalposts again. And you won't comment on Sieges Even nor Tiles. That tells me all I need to know. I think this thread's run its course.

"Served"? Is this High School Musical IX?
Omg are you an adult? I answered you that way because I thought you were of high school age. You must really be an idiot. How old you? Seriously I'm shocked and I was feeling bad for calling dum dum. Well that's it for us. Get some help.
