Stars @ Hawks

Finally I can cheer for Mats Zuccarello in the NHL.

And there he gets an assist. Cool

Just finished 'One Dollar' there, really enjoyed it, slow burner but last two episodes were brilliant and tied everything up perfectly.
Shame it was only one season though.

I just binge watched Russian Doll. It started a bit iffy but got really good towards the end. Loved the last few episodes.

One of my favorite old films.....I didn't see it until about 1962 or 63 though it was released in '56.
But....I have always felt the monster animation was a bit cheesy looking when it was outlined by the laser guns.

Caught up with the first episode of the new series of Veep.
It was fantastic and this series looks like it could be the best of it's run. Trump AND SJW spoofs. Everyone on!one says The Thick Of It is better but this remake for an American audience is better than Thick Of It ever got to!

I have also enjoyed the recent Steve Coogan series This Time With Alan Partridge and look forward to bingeing the lot of that as I'm looking forward to bingeing on Veep a few months later.

I don't mind the monster animation, very effective.  And those invisible footsteps, creepy as hell.  But the romantic nonsense I could do without.

Re-watch it sometime, you'll be blown away.
