Another great early album from a band that would go on to become famous. Since most people here would vote "Astronomy," I decided to leave that track off the poll (though I'm curious to see how many people post it anyway in their replies).
I love this whole album, especially Side One (!) but always had a soft spot for the crazed "Dominance and Submission."

My vote went to "Subhuman", a stunning song that has more than a few progressive elements. The whole album is a masterpiece, though.

Great album. I went with "Dominance and Submission" though that is best live.

Wow, a BÖC poll! (Is this the first one ever?)
(Also, the final song on Side B is "Astronomy" ...the one I'd vote for!)
Of the choices, either "Dominance and Submission" (picked) or "Harvester of Eyes."

Great album, I'll give it to Harvester of Eyes for its spacey weird perversion of heavy blues rock combined with hilariously demented lyrics.
"Well just last week I took a ride So high on eyes, I almost lost my way I'm the harvester of eyes"

I have listened really much their first, Tyranny & Mutation, also quite much their first live double and Agents Of Fortune, but this and their other albums at all. Another album to me to listen.

I haven't listened to these guys in quite some time, I don't know why, they're a great band. I will listen to the album and get back to the poll. :)

It was a split decision between the last two here. I went with Harvester Of Eyes although it ends faaaaaaaar too soon for my tastes. That ending riff slowed down to a towering monstrosity should have been fleshed out for at least a couple of minutes more. I adore that part but it always irritates me that it ends so abruptly...especially when they just got this monumentally awesome groove together. "Holy smokes this jam sounds absolutely amazing!!!! Better start the fade right there " No. Just say no.

After first listening it´s Subhuman. Really love the live version of it also! I would have voted Astronomy If it had been in the list.

Hard to choose. Damn. Tossup between “Subhuman”, “Dominance” , and “Flaming Telepaths”
I’m going with Dominance because Albert B is the man.

"Dominance and Submission" gets my vote, for the title alone.

Subhuman and Astronomy are my faves but I dig the whole album; one of the first BOC lps I heard along with 'On your feet or on your knees' live lp where 'Subhuman' is just awesome!

So good. I'll take Subhuman, but it's hard to pick. I prefer the live versions of all the songs but this album has an under-produced charm to it. Same goes for the other two Black & White era BOC albums, and beyond.
