By the way, congratulations, John, you're an inspiration to many of us rambling writers for the front page!

Really nice to see Ken giving a bit of attention to a VERY underappreciated and low-key Italian obscurity from the Eighties, La Nuova Era's self-titled work. It's as far from an essential LP as you can get, but I've always had a soft spot for it.

Thanks Michael, also for the inspiration of your own review.  I'm all about reviewing the unheard and under-reviewed.  Obscurity has its own intrinsic values and pleasures and there is no better place than prog folk for that, even if La Nuova Era doesn't really fall in that category (folk)

Anyway I'm always happy to see you on the front page, your very thoughtful and well spoken and of course our tastes will differ but being on here reading and talking about music is one of life's pleasures.

No John, actually I'm not a fan of The Tangent, I listened to them a few times but nothing really grabbed me...

Hey I was really interested in that Pinguin album after Damo's review, now Silly Puppy reviews it and I'm drooling at this point. An obscure Krautrock album from the early seventies that few know about, sounds really good.

Oh, I'm about to review that new band Weserbergland that has Froislie on it, the mellotron man in Wobbler, but sadly he's just adding synths and clavinet.
