This is a fascinating website:http://www.ced.berkeley.edu/faculty/cervero_robert/crimtron.htm

Those are some mighty beat-up Mellotrons!

Also, note that this person trades in various videos, photos etc. from prog artists.

I have no idea if he is reputable, but he seems to be very knowledgeable.

Enjoy!

^ I suppose it shows I'm no gearhead that the first thing I noticed was the white platform boots. You rockstar, you, Mr Fripp.

Wonderful Charles! I've been going through a bit if a Mellotron listening renaissance lately with bands like the Strawbs, Gracious, Spring, and of course, early KC. A big thanks for this post. Trons rule!

My great pleasure!!  The 'Tron is what first hooked me to prog (when I first heard ITCOTCK in 1969), and I've lived to see many of the great Tron artists live!

I find it fascinating that Bob Fripp and the band continue to use the Tron sound in their latest concerts, employing i-Pad apps (I have the same one, it is excellent!) and triggering samples with his Fernandes synth-guitar!

We've come a long way from the ITCOTCK 'Tron for sure!
