m@x won't let me post quotes -- couldn't you just tune the 5th string to B and play the chords like you would on a guitar, omitting the 6th string?

Tbh it's just a matter of memorizing chord shapes and figuring out the optimal way to strike the strings so they all ring at the same time or within a pleasantly-sounding amount of time between each string. (Either fingernails/fingertips or thumb because picks are not my friend)


And the Captcha thing I assume is either to cut down on bots (finally) or because there was a big scare about password servers being hacked or something? Haven't encountered it uet because I'm auto signed-in.

well they could be being run by people...but those types of activities are what I was talking about. I haven't seen a recently glut of activity in that regard. But I confine myself to only select areas of the forums.
