Hi
This has bothered me for a few years but I never bothered to reach out and ask. Two Italian bands that have some great albums have two of the worst names around. At least from it's english meaning. Can someone tell me what the background is for these two band names and what it really is supposed to mean from their standpoint? I, Pooh - Some really great albums but I can't get past the name "Poo" I, Dik Dik - their 1972 album "Suite Per .." is a gem. But that name... Please shed some meaning on what "their" intended meanings were for their names... thanks again.

It's all so obvious when one can get one's mind out of the gutter.

Interesting... From:
http://mentalfloss.com/uk/entertainment/32680/why-is-winnie-the-pooh-called-a-pooh > As for Pooh? Well, originally Pooh was a swan, a different character entirely. that would make sense considering "I, Pooh's" mellow-romantic music. ![]() |
