Most of them have been uploaded to YouTube. Some of them are fantastic and others are just 'meh'. Both stylistically and quality wise, the guy is all over the place! Here's one of the recent Halloween countdown ones:

I used to call this too prolific musician goddammotherf**kersonofabitch, but when I listen to Buckethead's music on YouTube I have to say that it's pretty good. Smile

I like him but still he's waaay too prolific.
Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...

If you took the best tracks from his discography you would have one hell of a 10 CD box set.

My concern is that his releases take up too much space in the "recent releases" list on the home page!

I know what you mean.  If it isn't automated, they should just give in one spot and say several new Buckethead albums...

I'm glad he was added.
This site rocks even more now.  Glad to be a part of this number.

I first got into him around 2000 or '01.  I think I have heard about everything he has released,
including some obscure stuff only around on youtube et al (e.g. some gig he played in someone's
living room for a wedding, I believe it was, and a couple of personal discs he did by request).

Jimi Hendrix was once a personal favorite guitar player, but that has changed.
David Gilmour's style blows me away;  the emotion he can convey with a guitar is one
of those few experiences I've had that make existence tolerable through whatever angst
may present itself.  Crappy choice of words but I'm at a loss trying to express it.  The solo
in Time remains my personal favorite.  But this is about Brian Carroll.

When I heard the following some I knew I had to hear more.  Just a 'simple' electric go,
but the feeling conveyed by it is similar to what Gilmour does, in my opinion:

<iframe width="420" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/rP9ipbjWZIA" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Maybe I'm crazy.
I don't mind.

One more that I find one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard:

<iframe width="420" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/VZ3_-SbtOL0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

I love that track.
It also displays some originality in the playing that he sometimes displays.
I'd say 'often,' as opposed to 'sometimes,' but the volume of work has become almost unbearable,
even for the serious fan, I must confess.  I'll keep consuming but for repeated listens I have no
choice but to restrict myself to those few hundred tracks by him that I really dig.  I even started a
text list, back in 2008, with personal ratings, as there was no other way that I could sort the wheat
from the chaffe (sic?), if you will.

Some other artists--like Senmuth from Russia--mass produce comparably, but there isn't enough
time in a second to keep up with them all.

Hope to discover some more treasures via forum communication, etc.
Thanks for having me.

Apparently, my first attempt at a youtube embed wasn't so groovy.
I'll figure it out in time, barring head injury.

I would have just edited, but that option appears to be nonexistent.

Hey Buckethead fans and haters!

For the fans: i finally finished reviewing ALL the PIKE series. I'm not sure what possessed me but i made it through! You can find a nice cohesive list of ALL my Buckethead Pike reviews on a nice tidy list on my Rate Your Music page:

For all the haters: you will no longer be subjected to a flood of the chicken lover's ceaseless output on the front page except for new releases which i will review as they are released. However i will be reviewing all the pre-Pikes which there are about 30 or so left but not all at once as i need a little break! So as long as he doesn't release like 100 new albums in one day or something, you can have chicken lover free PA experiences for the most part LOL

Hope you find the page and reviews useful. It took approximately 14 months to finish this project. Whew Geek

Congratulations, man! That's dedication if I ever saw it. Thank you for your valiant efforts; I think I may just try out some Buckethead this weekend.

The torture has finally ended, the struggle was finished, O stubborn, self-willed exile from the loving breast: He loved Buckethead!

I'll take a good listen to your top Pikes list. Thanks for the effort - that's some dedication!

I'll put up some reviews of the hidden gems in his discography at some stage.
