I like his first album a lot, even though it's mostly folk standards. Very different from his next albums. Still haven't heard anything after John Wesley Harding
was kidding...don't hesitate with 'Blood on the Tracks' and 'Desire', two of his all-time best. Many of his more recent stuff is quite strong too (Love & Theft, Modern Times, Together through Life, Tempest).
