Very sad news. I'm not so sure the bad start to 2016 is just a blip. A lot of musicians, actors etc people my age grew up with are getting on so sadly it's going to happen more and more. 62 is no age though.

Too soon, much too soon! We all knew that the piper had to be paid for the lives of excess some of our 1960s and 70s music heroes, but Vicky Wood wasn't that old......and she was super clean-living......I believe she had so much more to say. Dinnerladies......seems like yesterday.

Great memories of marathon late night sessions with fellow geeks, rotating Blakes, Dr. Who, Danger Man, Trek, Prisoner, Python, Butterflies, many more....lots of laughs and smoke in the air. Might have to revisit Blakes again someday.

hah... I can top that. I once stood guard over the preserved remnants of the flyer of said aircraft and no unauthroized vistior would have lived walking through my area. I had orders to shoot first,kill, then check why they were there... and was unfortunately all too conditioned to kill with compunction. RIP man... |
