Hate, with a vengeance, to root for the Bueshirts, but will have to in this game, for playoff seeding purposes. Sorry, Scott.
If it makes you feel better I'll be doing the same with the islanders tonight. Wink
I bet you will.

It can happen of course, but I don't really think we'll lose both of our last two games, not without tanking completely anyway, and I wouldn't want us to do that, so, like you before the Blushirts' last game, Phil, the most important thing for me is that we keep the rest of our roster healthy, and continue to play our game. Go for the wins and let the chips fall where they may, I say.

Most of NY sports radio disagrees with you. Tongue It'll be interesting to see how pumped the isles will be as the game continues. I imagine they won't advocate tanking directly but I have to imagine its on the players minds. They should be able to beat the lowly sabers though!

The Philly game is going to be interesting now that they don't need it either. I imagine a rather slow pace to that game.
What are NY sports radio saying, that they won't win those games, not because they're tanking but that what the results of the games will lead to plays on the players mind? If so they are right this far. Another loss tonight please, my dear Isles.

Yeah, I'm not too disappointed about having to miss the game tonight due to having to go to work early tomorrow morning, won't be surprised if it'll be a snoozefest.

Anyway, now I'm watching Liverpool - Stoke City.

Basically the goal is to avoid playing Pittsburgh, so all the Rangers fans were upset that they won (and tried to win) the Detroit game and all the Isles fans were saying that they should lose on purpose and do what the Rangers couldn't/wouldn't. At this point, I've conceding that we will be playing Pitt so no big deal for me. hopefully they will be using their third string goalie for awhile!

And yes...I'm expecting some truly poor hockey tonight. Tongue

So sad. Sabres are my team, but I don't ever get to see any games here in Oklahoma.

Well, they couldn't. TongueOuch

Also considering how they've played of late that's probably ok. Wink How'd you get to be a sabers fan way the way out there?
I'm from Buffalo. I grew up there. Oklahoma is a late in life development.
