^^ My brother is playing Saint Row IV now, it's the craziest game ever
^ What do you think of Fallout 4 and the new Tomb Raider? I finally finished the main story of Skyrim, almost one year after. I could continue with other quests but I played more than 90 hours and I'm tired of it |

I'm not really a gamer.
Funnily enough like two days ago I began playing this game World Of Tanks again after a year or so. Really nice game, lots of tactics (once you've played it for a while and play with the big boys). Other than this I rarely game. Sometimes I've got a poker period, but that's not really gaming in the same meaning of the word.

A friend of mine used to play that game between League of Legends' matches, that looked like a fun game. I never played either though, I was the Magic the Gathering geek I rarely play online and I never played poker

MTG nerd here too! I never really got into video games. As cliche as it is around here, I prefered music. I did play a little bit of IOS games, specifically Tapped Out and Clash of Clans.

New Tomb Raider basically just continues where the reboot left off a couple of years ago and doesn't change a whole lot, which isn't bad considering how fun the gameplay is. Plus, there's enough side stuff to keep busy for a few extra hours. Fallout 4 is flat out addicting. I'll find myself about to save and turn off, and then I'll find one little side quest to finish, and then about an hour or two later, I'll finally shut it down. On a side note, the wife got me Shovel Knight for PS4, so now I finally have a physical copy of it. I gotta get my 8 bit fix somehow! |

Here's what I bought on Steam this Christmas:
- Bastion - Dishonored GOTY (I had the normal version but it was cheaper to buy this, instead of the DLC's individually) - Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition - The Talos Principle - Transistor I finished Dishonored the other day and I really liked the game. I tried to play it the good way, by not killing too much enemies and being sneaky, but I wasn't so patient in the end and played the last mission in Rambo mode... I got the bad ending

^ The bad ending? I thought there were more than two (just good and just bad) possibilities for the ending.

^ It seems that there are two general endings, good or bad, but some things change according to what you did on the game. I'll have to repeat that last mission, to see if the ending changes.

^ No, but I'll wait for the price to drop on Steam. I'm really glad they decided to go back to rally, I played so many hours of CMR 04 and 2. I also liked the first Dirt a lot but after not so much.

^Same. This looks A LOT like the old Colin McRae games without all the BS, and more on the sim side. Plus, rally cross has been added, along with the hill climbs. I'm just happy to see Codies going back to what they do best instead of trying to appeal to the mainstream masses.

Dirt Rally is amazing and amazingly hard. It lures you into a sense of false hope before tearing you down. Or launching you unsuspectingly into trees.

Has anybody here tried Devil Daggers? Old school shooter high score kinda game, object is to see how long you can survive. 257 seconds is my highscore at the moment. It's only 5$, if anyone has/gets it let me know and add me on steam! User name: Bucklebutt

You Know, I used to be a huge gamer, not so much anymore. Anyways, I love PC first-person shooters. My three go-to are Counter-Strike (any verion really, I have all 3), Day of Defeat (My absolute fav. a ww2 shooter by valve as well), and Insurgency (a modern shooter that also uses the source game engine). I also love 3D platformers. I'm looking forward to Yooka Laylee coming out by some former Rare employees. Other favs of mine are Banjo Kazooie and Banjo Tooie, Dk 64, Conker's Bad Fur Day, and Psychonauts. That reminds me that I'm looking forward to Psychonauts 2. I also enjoy some 2d platforming like Earthworm Jim, Korby Superstar, etc. and some point and click adventure games like Grim Fandango.
Overall, I find it hard to pick up a game and really get into. I really don't enjoy RPGs nor do I like first person shooters that have said RPG elements like Cod, Battlefield, etc. Although, a few interesting games have caught my attention like the upcoming Zelda game, the Last Guardian, I enjoyed the recent Uncharted 4 for what it was, and No Man's Sky looks interesting but I doubt I'd pick up any of those games right away. I waited like two months to get Uncharted 4 from the library and played it with my brother, which made it much more enjoyable. Edited by BunBun - July 28 2016 at 19:56 |
