Wow, this one is actually surprising. I mean, the second half is very good, but the first half is absolutely unbearable IMO.

For me the ultimate and most progressive album of Mothers of invention is One size fits all. A perfect combination of jazz, blues, rock resulting to a progressive masterpiece.
As for what is the awesomest aspect of Zappa.. his moustache man.. look at that moustache.

Speaking of Zappa ....his son is playing in my local area  doing his Zappa Plays Zappa tour and they are doing One Size in it's entirety.....but couldn't find anyone to go with me and I hate going solo to concerts.
One does nothing yet nothing is left undone.

I'm going to see ZPZ in New Hampshire tomorrow night.

If you hurry, you can sit with me and my wife.
Trust me. I know what I'm doing.

I just got back from the ZPZ show. They opened with the One Size Fits All Album. It was great to hear it, but they played it too straight. After that, the band soared. The Grand Wazoo was amazing. Sinister Footwear was also incredible. But Big Swifty may just have been the greatest live performance I have ever seen.
Trust me. I know what I'm doing.
