When I was young it would have been Rain Song.  Now I'd probably take Achilles.

But the live version of Rain Song, when coupled with the SRTS intro, is just fantastic. I can't get enough of the way JPJ and Bonzo nail SRTS (track) on the live album.

Achilles is the best Zeppelin song of all time for me. Does anyone know of a live version that goes on for like 20 minutes plus?

As it was already a longish song as far as I'm aware they didn't drag it out any longer. I think it was only played on the one tour so for live versions you'll have to check out bootlegs of 76 and 77.

The version on the LZ DVD set is not any longer, but it is an awesome performance.  If you haven't seen it, it is a must for any Zep fan.  If you have, you know what I mean.

Know exactly what you're talking about, mainly because I own every official Zeppelin album and song, and it really is a kickass performance. I'm trying to acquire a lot of bootlegs to my already abundant collection.

Many of my favourites from the LZ catalog here, this is more or less a tie. Stairway to Heaven, he Rain Song, No Quarter, The Battle of Evermore, Kashmir, ...Carouselambra. I have a soft spot for this one, maybe their post proggish effort.

Oh no, it's almost impossible for me to choose between Stairway to Heaven, No Quarter, Kashmir, and Achilles Last Stand. They are all just too perfect and awsome no to vote for them. However, as a prog song, I guess I have to choose Achilles... though still very close with No Quarter.

FOUR STICKS
All I like is prog related bands beginning late 60's/early 70's. Their music from 1968 - 83 has the composition and sound which will never be beaten. Perfect blend of jazz, classical, folk and rock.

Carouselambra needs more love here.  So I gave it some.

all great songs, but I have a very soft spot for All My Love.  I don't care if it's prog or not, I just want to hear it again RIGHT NOW.
