john myung.

i love how he puts his head down, and just plays.  he has the best hair too...

This body holding me reminds me of my own mortality.
Embrace this moment. Remember. We are eternal.
All this pain is an illusion.

Still think Queensryche are cool?  http://pauldavidharbour.com/images/queensryche_thumb.jpg - Jesus, has anyone seen "The Warning" or "Rage for Order" inlet shots?  They're terrible, absolutely terrible.

I always found Andy Kuntz (har har) quite cool.

Michael Giles: the coolest, especially his attire.

Martin Barre; Such awesome hair, even though I think he was bald.

Steve Howe, especially in his mad scientist old age!

Steve Hacket

I've only seen one picture of him, but Neil Part's facial hair is awesome.

The capes are cool, but Rick Wakeman's definitely the least. I think we've found the missing link! He has long blonde hair!

BTW, I've always thought Chris Squire kind of looks like an alien, especially on the Yes Album.

Your life or your lupins!!!

Typical hair metal stuff.

I can't believe they actually took that stuff serious.

Often, I had a hard time figuring out if it was men or women on the cover...

You can't beat the Van Gogh of the saxophone.

And I am not frightened of dying, any time will do, I
don't mind. Why should I be frightened of dying?
There's no reason for it, you've gotta go sometime.
I never said I was frightened of dying.

You think that's bad. Check out the cover of Pantera's 1988 album "Power Metal".

It's only knock and knowall, but I like it...

Go to fullsize image these guys got my vote as coolest, best band name too,

they call themselves, The power choir of Humble.

God bless yall!

jk,jk, i made all that up, i dont even no if they have a name, just a funny pic i found on the internet,

My vote goes to David Gimour, but i also think Roger Waters looks kinda cool in that pompeii video during echoes part one, he's got that all black outfit on, looking a little tuff too.

Ian Anderson because of his wild-eyed crazy hobo hermit look in his young days. Nothing cooler than a guy who looks like he just came in off the alleyway standing on one leg and playing the meanest flute you ever heard.

Dave Gilmour looked pretty damn cool, too.

The crux of the biscuit is the apostrophe.

Great shot of PH. I can only imagine the scream he's letting out at that moment.

No idea why he is supposed to be like Van Gogh. Did he cut off an ear? But he looks pretty cool when he gets on stage with an alto and a tenor sex dangling from his neck, a soprano sax in one hand and a flute in the other, waving to the audience with both arms in the air.

Jogi Karpenkiel, Josef, Mani Neumeier, Roland Schäfer

This is a shot of Guru Guru from around 1977. They played in a tv-movie named "Notwehr" (German for "Self-Defense") then. It was about a rock group (they named themselves "Rattenfänger", "Rat Catchers", in that movie) moving into a rural area and getting into conflict with the conservative inhabitants of the village, resulting in the killing of one of the associated members of the group. Drummer Mani Neumeier was really cool in that movie. I was only 8 years old when that movie was first shown. It was rerun a few years ago, and I really was impressed with the acting of the band, especially Mani Neumeier.
