Topic: 7 early Queen songs (+1 later song) Posted: January 06 2015 at 15:02 |
Yeah.
There's another poll with all the greats, this one's mostly for the underdogs.
I'll go for Ogre Battle. That song is so epic!

once again, i need to get especially into their earlier stuff. the only ones i heard the studio versions of are Bijou and Seven Seas of Rhye.... and Ogre Battle, but only once. the favorite for now by far is the second one mentioned.

Ogre Battle, but only because you neglected to add The March of the Black Queen.

It's in the other poll, would've been weird to add the same song into 2 polls

Ah, yes. The other poll. Just like this one. Except with different Queen songs. Posted at about the same time. Gotcha.

Love 'em all but The Fairy Feller's Master-Stroke is so much fun.

As great as Ogre Battle is, The Fairy Feller's Master Stroke rules as a Prog song (besides March of the Black Queen). And Nevermore is just so beautiful...

My fave Queen toons are Great King Rat, Liar, Dragon Attack and Innuendo. The first album is the only one I bother with though.

Ogre Battle, for May's guitar work and the screams Mercury does in the middle.
