Yup, Paul again.
The world of sound is certainly capable of infinite variety and, were our sense developed, of infinite extensions. -- George Santayana, "The Sense of Beauty"

I have moved these Beatles polls from the Prog Polls section to the Proto Prog and Prog Related section. I know that poll-making (using that forum software) is disabled in the Proto-Prog and Prog Related lounge, and I don't mind moving the odd one, but I would rather not move a bunch.  In the future, if you choose to do such a series of polls of a band or bands not included in a prog category please place it in General Music Discussions instead, or alternately do it in the Proto Prog and Prog Related section without the poll options.  You could still ask the same questions and manage to do it in one thread (one doesn't need that poll voting program to create polls, people can do it by asking a question and having people write the response, of course).

The ability to make polls was disabled in the Proto Prog and Prog Related Lounge to discourage a lot of emphasis on non-Prog polls at the board (and possibly for some bandwidth reasons) -- so, yeah, moving this rather defeats the purpose of having had it disabled in the first place.

Considering that Yoko Ono is listed in all of these polls rather says to me that perhaps I should have moved it to Just For Fun (George Martin, who is often called the fifth Beatle, would have been a more logical choice).

As for who is the most metal: Yoko Ormolu (not funny, I know, but I don't feel gilt).

Sorry to cause you so much effort Logan, but I doubt I'll ever do a poll like this again.

I would say George, if only for his spiky guitar soloing here and there, but I never once thought of 'metal' styling when listening to the few Beatles things I own.
