What do you really think I didn't know that? It was all over the news for years. "Hamas is no longer the improvised terror organization you thought you knew". We know it's a well organized body that murdring Israeli civilians is not the only thing on his mind. The tunnels might have started as a way of getting goods into the strip and the details of the story you've posted also might all be true. But darn it why didn't they tell him that in addition to bringing all sorts of goods to their people in order to help them, they were also digging tunnels under the Israeli border in order to execute their most well planned mega terror act ever!! due to be issued at our new years eve coming in two months. As I said earlier they planned on getting out of the tunnels in hundreds at new years eve when everyone are in their homes (the small villages near the border) and murder as much as they can. Then the road is free to take the peoples cars and drive into the big cities, this could have easily be our 9 11. It's not a movie man, I'm not paranoid, it's real life over here (there goes our tourism) even if you choose to ignore it. The thing is that it happened, but not quite like they planned. They did come (with a very small force) out of one tunnel about two weeks ago but the area was already watched by the army, and that's how the whole story was exposed.

In that sense, a one-state solution would be preferable, but that would please just about no-one in the area: you'd dissolve the Jewish homeland but leave the ethnic Jews in control of everything.
