Opeth - Damnation.  I keep giving Opeth a try.  I really like a lot of tech/extreme prog metal (Leprous is my favorite at the moment), and the opinions of my fellow PA reviewers counts for a lot.  I'm just not entirely convinced by Opeth, but I am liking Damnation more than what I've heard in the past.
When I pick out music to listen to in the morning, I go for variety.  Damnation is Opeth at their most reserved.  This morning I also listened to Liszt's Hungarian Rhapsodies for Orchestra - I think Liszt is about as in-your-face and rock-and-roll as classical music gets!
I am the funkiest man on the planet!

Lizst's Totentanz for Piano and Orchestra would certainly epitomise your appraisalThumbs Up
(I suspect Rod Argent judiciously/unwittingly lifted bits of this for his wonderful the Coming of Kohoutek composition)

Yes - Believe Again; probably gonna try and get the new album due to there pretty much not being any recommendations from this website at all as of late.
