For me, Sabbath Bloody Sabbath is above all, so an initial vote go for that one.

The debut for me, followed by nothing here. My next favorite Sabbath's are Master of Reality followed by Paranoi.

I stand with Roger Waters, I stand with Joan Baez, I stand with Victor Jara, I stand with Woody Guthrie. Music is revolution

Of the above albums Heaven and Hell followed by the first four albums in reverse order and the Mob Rules.
Sabbath Bloody Sabbath and Sabotage are nice but (for me at least) indicative of the downward spiral they were in, with the endlessly boring Megalomania being a prime example).

Sabbath Bloody Sabbath Bloody Sabbath...

It was my second Sabbath album I got and one of the first 70's albums I've heard. I remember putting my used LP copy on the turntable, and when that first distorted riff came out I thought "Now that's how a guitar should sound..." Heart

SBS was one of the first albums I ever bought, and is still my favourite Sabbath album.

Sabbath Bloody Sabbath and Vol. 4 for me, and then the first side of Sabotage. Those meant the most to me back in the day.

Black Sabbath: Black Sabbath. Evil Smile  All other Sabbath albums are merely followers of their Satanic spell.  Bowdown

This was tough. It was between SBS and H&H. I love both, but my allegiance to RDJ falters not. The Ozzy/Dio/Martin albums shouldn't really be compared because they all sound so different. Plus, I think Seventh Star (really meant to be Iommi's first solo) with Glenn Hughes is underrated.
