That's part of what I like, generally I prefer psychedelic music to have some kind of undercurrent of darkness or melancholy if not a disturbing element to it.

Weird how what's basically a pop band can take so long time to "get", but something about their entire style makes CT a fantastic band to listen to at the end of a very exhausting day. A very resigned and tired mental state somehow gets me more receptive to all the nuances in their sound, or the twists and turns in Liz Fraser's bizarre vocal performance.
