On the first pic I posted about 5 grooves to the right must be some insane drum beats or loudness spikes to need such zig zag grooves.....Its cool that a technology that goes back to Alexander Graham Bell, some of us still enjoy at high levels of sonic wonder.

Looks absolutely great and I hope it didn't cost you too much
My favourite is Secondlife syndrome. Their most 'proggy' effort to date I think.
Anyway. Spin away my friend.
Gimmie my headphones now!!! 🎧🤣

Anno Domini High Definition is blue vinyl...sweeet!! Couple yrs ago I missed buying these on the Riverside website, my card would not approve the purchase since it was an overseas site, I guess they were protecting me. They had clear for REM and I think SLS was in a yellow vinyl.

Spinning away!!! These are InsideOut Music issues which are simply amazing SQ, they do such a great job. The mix and mastering is very well done. Deeper, warmer beefier sound than the CD versions.....Very pleased.

So glad I pulled the trigger on these Riverside albums.......Fantastic albums....Sound so much better than my CD versions. Mariusz's vocals are meaty, detailed and superb. The production of these vinyl issues are excellent, surface noise....yea simply not there. Digital harshness is now gone.......

Love it!

They are amazing sounding for sure. Just had R.E.M. going, and it is pure ear-candy. There was also a live dbl LP called 'Reality Dream' - I think copies sold out mega-fast, was lucky to have jumped on it immediately. Incredible sounding live album, though not straying too much from studio versions. Granted, the music is highly arranged and complex to jam too much into it. Personally, I'm not a prog-metal fan, but there are some outstanding examples like our Polish friends right here

Yeah I really understand what you mean. I really want to buy a quality DAC player soon just for diversity at some point.
I've been rocking digital for a while now and I absolutely love what I hear through what I own, but I'm curious to hear what my HD 800 Sennhiser headphones would sound like running through a DAC amp.
I'm currently using my JVC stereo AMP which supplies more than enough power to run them properly. I also have a Harmon Kardon Receiver which is like a high quality 'warm tube amp' power supply but none of these coverts the signal to Analogue of course and I think I wanna spend the money and give it a try. DAC's definitely range in price, but I'll definitely do my research. :)

There are plenty of DACs on the market...everyone makes them. I suspect the price of them should start to come off some, especially brands that are also coming out with DSD DACs, which is all the range right now. Kinda making the "traditional" stand alone DAC old feeling. If you are only looking at a 24/96 or 24/192 DAC then you can find them at good prices, a lot of used ones too.
I have a Grant Fidelity TubeDAC11 which I used to use it a lot more but now only to play my digital files thru, it has an excellent headphone amp too. I got it because it has analog inputs as well as the traditional digital inputs, gives analog sources that tube sound, it can also be used as a preamp. As a headphone DAC it is has a dead black background.....But again I think you can find a very good one for a good price today.

Have fun~!

Nice! I have all Scorpions vinyl, most in both the original X-rated cover version as well as the US issued G rated versions LOL. The only vinyl I am missing is Taken By Force, I want the original cover version.

Oh - forgot about Scorpions - I have their first 2 albums on vinyl, then the next few on cassette. The debut 'Lonesome Crow' came out as a re-issue in the 80's with a Rodney Matthews artwork (fetching like Roger Dean) in both pic-disc and regular sleeve. This also happened to Eloy's early 80's albums (Planets, Time To Turn and Metromania). They botched the Time To Turn release by substituting an album track with a piece off 'Colours'....? Why they did this is a mystery......

I have several Scorps on cassette too..I have Blackout on 8-track tape also. The only 1st Scorps album I have is the German issue on Brain Records titled Action. With the jeep vehicle half buried in sand.....I have seen the Lonesome Crow cover with the scorpion and hand at used stores, but all have been very bad condition.
All my Scorps albums are either German issues and most are Japanese issues on RCA label. Purchased here in US as "imports" from Tower Records, paid more due to this and the X rated covers.

Tower Records used to have the largest import section....It was amazing!

'Fly To The Rainbow' is a knock-out album. Scorpions could almost be included here at P.A. tbh.

Certainly if it was done by album they would.....Lonesome Crow, FTtR, In Trance even songs on Animal Magnetism have a lot of progressive attributes. There was some mellotron work on Fly To the Rainbow.....

But I hope they never get in here....That would make a lot of stuffy old prog fartheads go nuts! LOL
