Tom it really is a fantastic release, I enjoyed Side I&II last night, the sound quality is amazing. What I also loved about this vinyl is after I shut down the rig, I realized it was essentially surface noise free. My listening distance is rather far about 4m sits my sofa so I tend to crank the volume a bit...no noise only music.

I do hear that Plane Groovy is doing well also.....good stuff!

^SUPER, Jose !! How nice is this one......!!
Beautiful item on LP. 'Inside Out' release some outstanding vinyl. Also like what 'Plane Groovy' are releasing too. Quite a few respectable labels out there to keep the joy alive and well.

Just came in the mail!
Includes a CD of the album, which is well done, no evidence of the loudness war. Did a quick A/B and the vinyl version is super nice....Well done job mixing and mastering.

The Beard are back with this one for sure!

Why they did this is a mystery......

I have several Scorps on cassette too..I have Blackout on 8-track tape also. The only 1st Scorps album I have is the German issue on Brain Records titled Action. With the jeep vehicle half buried in sand.....I have seen the Lonesome Crow cover with the scorpion and hand at used stores, but all have been very bad condition.
All my Scorps albums are either German issues and most are Japanese issues on RCA label. Purchased here in US as "imports" from Tower Records, paid more due to this and the X rated covers.

Tower Records used to have the largest import section....It was amazing!

In the 80's and at the beginning of the 90's, I also bought about 50 cassettes (Scorpions, AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Trust, ...). Smile

Certainly if it was done by album they would.....Lonesome Crow, FTtR, In Trance even songs on Animal Magnetism have a lot of progressive attributes. There was some mellotron work on Fly To the Rainbow.....

But I hope they never get in here....That would make a lot of stuffy old prog fartheads go nuts! LOL

Nice! I have all Scorpions vinyl, most in both the original X-rated cover version as well as the US issued G rated versions LOL. The only vinyl I am missing is Taken By Force, I want the original cover version.

Yeah I really understand what you mean. I really want to buy a quality DAC player soon just for diversity at some point.
I've been rocking digital for a while now and I absolutely love what I hear through what I own, but I'm curious to hear what my HD 800 Sennhiser headphones would sound like running through a DAC amp.
I'm currently using my JVC stereo AMP which supplies more than enough power to run them properly. I also have a Harmon Kardon Receiver which is like a high quality 'warm tube amp' power supply but none of these coverts the signal to Analogue of course and I think I wanna spend the money and give it a try. DAC's definitely range in price, but I'll definitely do my research. :)

There are plenty of DACs on the market...everyone makes them. I suspect the price of them should start to come off some, especially brands that are also coming out with DSD DACs, which is all the range right now. Kinda making the "traditional" stand alone DAC old feeling. If you are only looking at a 24/96 or 24/192 DAC then you can find them at good prices, a lot of used ones too.
I have a Grant Fidelity TubeDAC11 which I used to use it a lot more but now only to play my digital files thru, it has an excellent headphone amp too. I got it because it has analog inputs as well as the traditional digital inputs, gives analog sources that tube sound, it can also be used as a preamp. As a headphone DAC it is has a dead black background.....But again I think you can find a very good one for a good price today.

Have fun~!

They are amazing sounding for sure. Just had R.E.M. going, and it is pure ear-candy. There was also a live dbl LP called 'Reality Dream' - I think copies sold out mega-fast, was lucky to have jumped on it immediately. Incredible sounding live album, though not straying too much from studio versions. Granted, the music is highly arranged and complex to jam too much into it. Personally, I'm not a prog-metal fan, but there are some outstanding examples like our Polish friends right here
