Also, only 8 new posts since I left... That's not many.

That's 2:30 AM Monday for New South Wales

That solves that, it means right about now then (for Monday or in my case early Tuesday), sweet. If I remember I'll try and catch it.

My current favourite bass tone ever would be Colin Marston on Colored Sands. Completely nasty sound. I love it. Squire's still awesome, of course. Smile

Wich band is that?
Gorguts. From my avatar. LOL

Should also add that he's the bassist in Behold... the Arctopus.

The whole album is on their website. http://www.gorguts.com/wp/discography/colored-sands/
You can hear his tone pretty well in the heavy parts of the first song.

Thx, I will check it out once I arrive home.

I believe Colin Marston is recording an album with Smurph (Greg / Pseudo Sentai) right now.

People who laugh too much at work annoy me.  It's almost like a nervous habit.  There really isn't that much to laugh at.  Nothing genuinely funny enough to warrant an LOL, at any rate.

I mean, they're just talking about normal crap, and every few seconds one of them laughs.  It's driving ME MAD

I guess in this case, they're sorta kinda having fun, putting up Xmas decorations while I crunch my data.
But I've been in actual business meetings where the same thing happens.  Talking about serious business stuff and one person laughs whenever anything remotely serious or potentially awkward comes up.  It's like a defense mechanism people have to keep the mood from ever getting too uncomfortable.  It just seems so phony to me.

Oh I know what you mean.  I'm pretty sure I'm guilty of doing this sometimes, and also pretending that I'm really interested in what I'm working on.  But I'm a pretty awkward person anyway.
