Yeah he should have. They would have awarded him the touchdown if he did.

Tomlin knew what he was doing, and rumors are circulating about a 6 figure fine and loss of a draft pick.
Personally,I think Jones should have plowed into him.You step onto the field you're fair game in my book.

Shame is, it really wasn't a 1st down, that should have been a third down but obviously they f**ked up and called it a 1st...much as that screwed us they deff screwed the skins worse.
....sigh can't even enjoy a win over your rival! Can't even give me that

I have been a long suffering Chargers fan over nearly 5 decades and they always find a way to beat the good teams and lose to the weaker ones! I don't get it!

First time Washington has scored on an opening drive. Fairly shocking, but NO shock is they got their first against the Giants LOL And Eli sacked first snap. ....they run it on 2nd and 19 Yes, everything thus far is going exactly as expected

Vikes did the Lions a huge favor today in beating the Bears. Now, we're a solid 2 games ahead.

Yeah, Peyton better stage a good comeback/have a good second half. Because after that chokejob against the Pats where he didn't even try sans for 90 seconds...if he ends up throwing a clunker against this critical game. Well...

Foles has been impressive. Texans almost pulled the upset on the Pats.
Browns down to the Jags....Jags' helmits are quite ugly, looks like the front part of it was burnt in a fire..
Game of the day starting to be a little bit of a shootout (thus far)....Chiefs just ran a 108 yarder back.

That Bama/Auburn game was indeed epic, and guess the decision of going for a FG instead of killing one second may really linger huge. No one would expect a 100+ yard return but still, why even take the chance and on a 57 yarder? Nutty stuff.
I actually missed the Tomlin thing, had to find out via nfl memes...only reason I wanna say it was unintentional is because it's so insane to try. Belichick has lent support saying "yeah sh*t happens guys" but I guess that's not exactly a ringing endorsement Seriously, I personally doubt it was intentional but they say a coach isn't allowed to be there so he should be flagged. Well too late, he'll be fined/penalized. Just what a weird thing

^ agreed, he should be fined or disciplined. It was out of character for him.

Unintentional or not, you still cannot do it. And he's too smart of a guy to have not done it on purpose.

Just now getting to the Turkey day Stiller game. I believe the fork is preparing to be placed in the Steelers arse now.
I don't think Tomlin's action was deliberate....in the beginning, but as the play got closer he did not move but sort of looked over his shoulder. I don't think it would have made any difference other than a few yards as the defender was about to pounce on him anyway.
This may not be the place to post for a college game, but the Bama Auburn game was very entertaining to watch with many big unreal plays...enjoyed it.

Pains me to say but Romo really is having a great year, maybe best of his career and I think in recent years he really has greatly improved his game. Not to mention has carried the team, they'd be much worse without him.
Speaking of which, holy sh*t the Packers are worthless without Rodgers. Without turnovers imagine how bad that game would've been?? On the flip side, if Detroit can keep mistakes down and play with more maturity imagine how beastly they can be. But tis the NFL I guess, QBs make so much $$ by default they have to run the team, and quality backups don't really exist unless you can draft one.

Best part of the day was the fourth quarter of the Lions/Packers game, mainly because that was the point where I could fully enjoy the game, knowing that they were going to win. Best game I've seen them play in a while, despite the four turnovers (that has to stop, though.)

Only got to see the last two minutes of the Bal/Pit game but it seems I saw the best part of football today!

Scary helmet to helmet hit by that Raven. I hate when they do that
freeze, the body goes totally stiff and their hands open up. Glad he got
up...usually that is followed by someone being carted off the field :(
Also considering how hitting someone within the upper body area is a penalty kinda shocked that went uncalled. Decent games today. Regardless, nothing like kicking back, doing nothing and watching football.

Nice to see the Steelers explicitly cheating.
