1. I suppose F is the key of the horn, why it's singled out I don't know. A misprint is of course possible as well.
2. There's no CD version in existence, and I've heard it's probably not even coming. So download and triple LP are the only formats right now.

I don't know how the LP sides go, someone who ordered it can update it when the LP comes out.

Now that Kayo Dot's Hubardo is out, we can replace the educated line-up guess with the proper official listing.


This is what the album credits say:

I think I'll go with the DVD section, the fact that it was a full theatrical/ballet production is more a special selling point than the mere audio of the concert.

I'll look into the Audio/Subtitle options too if I can figure them out from the booklet/package. Thanks for your advice!

^ Simply choose DVD or live CD. It's OK if you prefer DVD section.

By the way, sometimes, even if tracklists are identical, DVD versions are a bit longer because they contain episodes of communication with the audience.

Usually, if I have the information, I point out, in Release information, DVD sound options (Stereo, DD etc) and subtitles (if they exist).

OK, so I should add it to both in the Live Albums AND DVD's, with the alternating appropriate details?

Or do I simply choose one of the two (I'm favouring DVD's)?

The tracklisting is the same for both (the CD is esentially a disc with the audio of the concert).

Already got the `Backstage' details written up ready, as well as full credits, etc.

^ It looks like DVD is the main feature of this release. But placing it in live albums would be correct too.

It's not clear from BTF description (http://www.btf.it/alive-in-theatre-the-rime-of-the-ancient-mariner-chapter-one.html) whether CD and DVD contain the same number of tracks and in the same order or not. If tracklists are identical it's enough to list tracks once and point out that tracks are the same.

As I see DVD also has an extra feature "Backstage", please don't forget this.

Hello again guys, looking for some advice so that we DON'T end up back here!

I've recently purchased the following album, and I'm going to add the discography listing:

Hostsonaten - Alive In Theatre: The Rime Of The Ancient Mariner - Chapter One'

Now my question to you is, where would you prefer it be placed? In live albums, or DVD's?

Also, the spine of the Mini LP CD/DVD package lists it simply as `Alive In Theatre', would it be fine to simply list it as that?

http://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=41910 The newest Blackfield album is labeled "Blackfied IV" on the site instead of "Blackfield IV". The title is missing the second "L" on our site.

I only discovered the missing album when I looked up a new live release I'd bought from them to add the front cover for my Ipod! I may as well add album details/cover/review for the new one, called `Hamburg Concerts 2013' as well....so now I have homework to do as well lol!

Corrected total as 40:40 (the sum of track lengths on mentioned page). Perhaps your player gives slightly different times.
