fantastic choice......time for a darker, older doctor and stop appealing to the eye candy teenagers of today( which seem to be the only ones whinging about it).......time to get doctor who back on track.....so we'll just have an oscar and bafta winner for the role yeah..

A "darker" doctor? Well, he's got his hair more grey than dark, if you ask me!

not that the color of ones hair has anything to do with it........ever since i've seen the announcement and comments i didn't realize people were so ageist.....shame that.

The last doctor?... I wouldn't be surprised to see the writers trying some kind of "Lost stories of the Doctor", taking place on Gallifrey, so the show could continue for ten more years.
