Don't know how best to go about treating this artist, so I'll post it here and let the progarchives boffins decide how to add the project into the database (if approved)!

Ka Mmen is basically the members of Seventh Evidence (who we already have in Exp/Post Metal: http://www.progarchives.com/artist.asp?id=6187) regrouped under a new name and signed to a label (Darknagar Records/Lightstream Division), whereas their previous two albums were self-released.

The band is Ukrainian, their debut album is called 'The Sands'.

"Welcome to the desert of time!
Ka leads us, without asking about the desires and motives. And we are not given to know the consequences.
We change the names, change the person, forget the past. Forget the future. We just go ahead.
This album - one of the stations in the middle of the desert, where we stopped, got out looked around - the right place. unloaded luggage, decorated it with notes and words, left a note for those who will find it and set up in the correct order, and left the station to meet other worlds.
The miracle exists Only When Notice you IT."
In the real world it takes you 55 mins 23 secs to cross this desert from one side to the other.
But, however, there are other worlds and mental states.
The desert sand here is the time and the sky space - the music.
The road in this adventure is ornamented by live pictures-illusions. Voiced images tremble and drift away on the canvases that are woven from white-hot air.
In the desolate sun-drenched gallery there are 10 pictures…

Ka Mmen's debut album - The Sands. Sensual and soulful, hysterical and energetic, melodic and rhythmic, deep and meditative - the musical material of the album plays moods and harmonies. Ka Mmen are able to combine together the elements of psychedelia of the 1960s, the British melancholic rock and avant-garde Norwegian 1990s 2000s, skillfully woven into this fabric its own unique harmony, so that the material can not be reproached in the secondary. And no wonder, because the musicians have many years of experience: the team was formed in 1997 under the name of Seventh Evidence and released two albums in 2000 and 2005.

The new album is dedicated to the memory of Syd Barrett.

The album is available for order through the website Darknagar Records label http://darknagar.ru/
In digital format the album is available for purchase in the online stores iTunes, Amazon MP3, Tradebit and 7digital.

Many thanks David!

A couple of tracks from the Ka Mmen The Sands album appear on the Seventh Evidence myspace page... I think we should refer this to the PM team to decide whether to add this album to the Seventh Evidence discog or evaluate the band as a separate entity for possible inclusion on the site.

I am only a collaborator, Thanos - I can't edit biographies unfortunately...That privilege is reserved for S.C.s only.

I guess all that needs to be added is something like:

In 2012 the band re-grouped under the new name KA Mmen, signed in July of that year to the new subdivision of the Russian 'Darknagar' label (LightStream Division) and their third album 'The sands' was released on 17 November 2012 [DNR 017 / LSD 001 - 6 panel Digi-CD, and also as a digital download].

The current official website is the old 'Seventh Evidence' myspace page which has recently gone more-or-less to the dogs with the massive upheaval that has occured following migration to the 'new myspace', so I would suggest substituting http://kammenway.com/ as the new official website.

I can, of course, add the album.  Thumbs Up
