Thanks, guys, I don't really think my pretty nothing opinion is worth much, but I do like `spreading the love' about progressive music/albums that mean a lot to me!

It's worth something to me. I have only a handful of people in my life where I can have in depth discussions about prog, and you are one of them! ![]() It's as I said, you keep writing them...ill keep reading them. :) |

Nice review, Michael...your comparison to Corte di Miracoli has me intrigued!

Just for a fleeting moment, my friend! As soon as I heard that section, I raced for my Corte vinyl thinking `Damn, that keyboard intro sounds like the keyboard intro on the fourth song on the Corte album....' !
Maybe just me...we'll see! ![]() Edited by Aussie-Byrd-Brother - May 15 2013 at 08:42 |

All right! Octopus-4 has put up a review for the third Assemblea album!
![]() http://www.progarchives.com/Review.asp?id=959377 He hits the nail on the head by mentioning that it's not really prog, but I do remember thinking that third album was nicely played adult rock with several solos/instrumental sections, so just enough to interest more forgiving prog fans. I wasn't planning on reviewing it, so good to see someone made the effort! |

Octopus is right. The third album, even if with a commercial sound, is nice. But I still prefer the first. (Avalaible at Greg's home. Hand made Japanese Poor House CD. Different cover.)

Yep, the first one is the special one for me too, Pierre!
Didn't like the second one much from the clips I heard on Youtube....WAY too many vocals passages, very folky, none of that mystery of the first album. |

I agree. Marylin is not good. Do you have the Greg's Cd or a LP ?

A wonderfull album! Hard to put in a genre drawer, which makes it even more interresting. Sadly the attempt for a second album didn't work out. They recorded a few tracks with the amazing "ske", and disapered in smoke. Try "Breznev Fun Club" for a similar approach. Edited by TheH - May 15 2013 at 14:20 |

Thanks Sagi, good luck with it, a very nice album!
Gentlemen, look what arrived today! ![]() I'll be giving it a listen tomorrow morning! I think, Jim, you mentioned that it was a Genesis-like sound, so is it something of a Neo-prog album? I'm currently struggling quite badly on this Italian Neo album: ![]() http://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=39961 ![]() |

BTF news. OSAGE TRIBE 2013 : HYPNOSIS.Trailed by the energetic drummer Nunzio "Cucciolo" Favia, Osage Tribe A.D. 2013 reborn with most of the original line-up, given the involvement of bassissta Bob Callero, accompanied by young guitarist Mattia Tedesco.
"Hypnosis" combines songs of the legendary debut revisited in a hard-prog key, with new tracks in the same style, where "Delitto Erotico" and the title-track show oriental influences. The surreal and striking cover image is an illustration made in 1968 by another famous Italian artist, Herbert Pagani, known more for his musical career than for his incredible drawing skill. The CD edition includes three cover songs of classic hard rock ("We're an American Band", "Fireball", "Can't Find My Way Home"), and a booklet with photos and historical material dedicated to the band. . |

Pierre, Osage Tribe is not my favourite RPI album, (wait, that's the one with the indian cover, right?) but this is interesting news....with the exception of the hard rock cover songs!
