Who are Throbbing? That name sounds almost illegal
Any links for me to have a sneak peak/listen? :) please
Whatever you do, don't search any images of Cosi Fanni Tutti and Genesis P'orridge pre-TG. They were a couple and were both "performance artists" who were unabashed about their own nudity, especially Fanni. They committed a few unsavory acts for the sake of their "art."
The cover of TG'S Greatest Hits features Cozy with bedroom eyes and that is strange. Her guitar sounds like a vaccum cleaner. My God ..are they ever disturbing. I tend to find a dosage of humour in their music. If you desire to call it music? As I said before...people would play their albums to put a scare into a person they disliked. People long ago..often associated T.G. with the Residents or Tuxedomoon. It was somehow fitting to spin all of their records for hip but disturb individuals. They were scary and I disliked the cover of the 3rd and final report. What was the point of placing a innocent looking little girl on that record jacket? That always seemed suggestive to me and I disliked it. They were a bit too disturbing. Never mind.

Throbbing Gristle of course. The Beatles were a bunch of happy, happy drug addled innovators. Throbbing Gristle were a bunch of sick demented drug addled British freaks who managed to be just as innovated and important imo.
Watch this interview Kati, and you'll need all you need to know about TG.
