The egg was boiled at home for breakfast, but when I came to work with my lunch, she smelt something interesting in the egg, so she started trying to bite it, but to no avail. And yes, of course in the end the egg slipped out of her paws and [crack!]

Awww I adore animals and this precious forum topic made me cry. I lost my Sparky, best friend, my buddy, my fluffy dog who had been with me for over 10 years on Christmas day 2012. I miss him so much.
I do not want to sound morbit, the reason I am commenting on here is just to show appreciation for this site, because it helped me to divert my attention to music, this helped me alot to cope. I have not been on fb or prog radio show chatrooms since then, brings too many memories yet on here since no one knows me somehow it's easier to communicate, also I have been enjoying listening to new stuff.

Although I am most curious and get excited/happy about music, I do try my best not to be all over the place, try to hold back with commenting on everything that interests me, this with consideration towards others, I am also well aware that although this is a music discussion forum, it is not social chat network.

I will post pics of Sparky at a later stage Smile

Also, thank you to everyone who was nice to me as a newbie, for their patience and being nice.
Hugs to all Hug

Several people on here know that I've also mentioned how being here and chatting with some great people on this site has kept me positive, happy and focused in a difficult time.

Good luck with everything, Sonia, I know how a pet can seem just as important as a human family member, they share such a part of your life.

Stay happy and positive!

^^ Wow, that's a great looking cat.  Looks like he could have been a Pharoah in ancient Egypt.

She was dreaming about running to/from something...haha! Wagging her tail and lightly barking in her sleep.

He does not look like one of Egypt's royal mummies to me LOL (you can check them out on this site), but when he sits straight with his tail in front of his feet, he looks like some ancient Egyptian statuette, unlike the cat which I gave an Egyptian name (Thutmose) back in 1970.

LOL... I can imagine. Among Ernie's many nicknames are some with a closely related meaning - in different languages.
