Interesting set, did you check Hackett's involvement in Rob Reed's new project?

By the way, when I mentioned signature above, I meant this Wink

Ah

This was set up by Prog Archives webmaster - it is also 20 characters greater than the usual allowance, so if I change the signature I have problems....

Has me reminded of the late 60's Terry Reid Band - but there is an element of pre-Ian Gillan DP

Not hear dof the Walker Brothers of the 60's?

Went solo and recorded Jacque Brel songs, and then moved to the weirder stuff. Tilt release 6 + years ago, has some strange sounds e.g a side of pork being slapped.....

I like Sidsel Endresen - she is always unpredictable, some her albums are very adventurous

you are so right but I guess Scott "Walker" Engel made enough money with that band to go completely independent in several senses. Trying to think pf the name of a german woman singer who has covered a few of  Walker's recent composition?

Inspired by a couple of interesting covers albums by (the Bangles') Susanna Hoffs and Matthew Sweet, I thought it was about time I played a covers special show this term. Hoffs & Sweet (surprisingly?) do Yes (but didn't Iron Man Robert Downey jr release a music album including a Yes cover, about 5-6 years ago?). To me the best covers add something fresh and/or different to the original versions, so I hope find a lot of new takes on some familiar and lots of less familiar tunes:
