BeBefore:

Cops
- "Drug Busts: Special Edition".

In one third of the episode they busted a couple for transporting four bags of something, and because the guy out-loud decided that he will take the fault for his girl he gets some flak from the cops with more charges.

In the second third they busted a few guys and a woman transporting weed. "You know, they do make foundation for women in jail." LOL

Let's see what happens in the last third.

EDIT: In the last third - a black dude sucking on coke. The officers say he could have died had he not been pulled over.

Before: Cops - "Jersey Cop: Special Edition".

Now: Safe House. Missed the first half of it. Looks pretty good so far.

Before: Castle - "When The Bough Breaks".

Now: Some s$%tty take on Ridley Scott's Alien called Creature (1985) ... AND Klaus Kinski is in it! Needed a lot of improvement, though.

World War II

Narrated by Oliver Stone, this new one-hour series features human events that at the time went under reported, but crucially shaped America's unique and complex history. The first chapter explores the birth of the American Empire by focusing on Franklin D. Roosevelt, Winston Churchill and Joseph Stalin. Through examination of key decisions during World War II, discover unsung heroes such as American Henry Wallace and explore the demonization of the Soviets. Directed and narrated by Oliver Stone.

^It's running on Shotime now and they've only run the first episode of the series.

I've always had an interest in history.  It's a pretty good distillation of that war.  It doesn't leave out the Spanish Civil War, which is integral to WW2.  It also doesn't leave out the role that some American corporations played in aiding the Nazis.  I never knew much about Wallace, Roosevelt's second VP.  And, I never quite appreciated all the losses that the varied people of the Soviet Union endured, nor their role in defeating the Nazis.  Also I did not know the death tolls.  I was surprised that there were 3 millions Poles killed and how little the US lost.  But then we were not invaded.  It was also interesting that Japan had an opportunity to join Germany in the attack on the Soviet Union but declined which might have brought an end to the SU in Oliver's opinion, but I am doubtful.

The first episode is good food for thought if you have an interest in history.
