Danish band Blue Sun's selftitled track. Man I love this one. It really demonstrates my country's love of melodic and psychedelic jazz rock. This is currently under eval at the fusion quarters. Either way, I adore this one. Just have a listen to the guitar solo mid song that stirs up a tornado of sound, where all the different musicians ride a high that literally jumps straight out through the speakers!

I was thinking between GG's "On Reflection" and Renaissance's "At the Harbour", and so I chose this:

^^ "Reno 911" was a parodic police "reality show" a number of years back, for those of you who didn't get my joke.

And Blue Sun sounds great, by the way, thanks for the heads up there!  European fusion is frequently cool.   Reminds me a little of Thirsty Moon and Burning Red Ivanhoe.  The first few minutes, anyway.  I want to get back to the rest of it later.

I remember watching an episode of that. It was so ridiculous and at one point even just tasteless.

I might have seen a half an episode. Didn't look that funny to me.

Living is wonderful.....do what thou wilt.....

Or, for a more direct answer:
"Mr. Crowley" - Ozzy Osbourne

I'm highly tempted to look into his solo stuff - specially the period between  Blizzard Of Ozz and No More Tears.

He looks at this world and wants it all... so he strikes, like Thunderball!

Cool man. I can heartily recommend that second half. It's the main reason I think so highly of it.

I can't really say whether for me today it's "Ashes Are Burning", "Song of Scheherezade", or "Trip To The Fair", but I can tell you right off the bat who my favorite band today are.

Screw it. "Song of Scheherezade".

Wow yeah, you were right.  those solos really kick some butt, especially the eastern scale guitar thingy.

Today's favorites for me were Kraftwerk's "Radioactivity" and "Pocket Calculator".  The first one is sad, the second one is happy.  I needed both today.

Revisiting my Fiery Furnaces collection after a few years.  This one's riff always gets me going.
