Yes, I was going for "least impartial" or "most biased/skewed/partial" there. It was in response to a statement that Fox was impartial, aside from Hannity and Beck.

I think it's funny that you think that in ANY way, Fox is impartial....

When did I call them impartial? I just think it's hilarious to have such a blatantly anti-Fox person like you on record praising their objectivity, and the knowledge that I now have a berserk button I can press whenever I like. LOL

I don't think that Fox is any more partisan than any other news network; their straight-ahead newscasts that I hear on the radio seem pretty impartial to me, but I'm aware of the bias in the rest of their programming, and wish they wouldn't advertise themselves as "fair and balanced" when only one aspect of their programming could actually be considered as such.

The chaos, berserk, and turmoil "buttons" are far too readily accessible to every member of PA, I'm afraid.

I did not mean to praise their objectivity, it was a typo in response. And sorry - I am confusing you with The T, who was the one who originally said Fox was impartial.

Okay, this is hilarious; I just have to post it somewhere, and this thread is as good a place as any.

Flesh decayed in every nook!
Some rare bits of brain lie here,
Mortal loads of beef and beer,
Some of whom are turned to dust,
Every one bids lost to lust;
Royal flesh so tinged with 'blue'
Undergoes the same as you.
...
Famous some were--yet they died;
Poets--Statesmen--Rogues beside,
Kings--Queens, all of them do rot,
What about them? Now--they're not!

Mike Mangini featured on a BBC Radio Four broadcast today titled "Fast and Furioso" (available on iPlayer for those in the UK - www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b05zkr4w) - while he demonstrates drumming at 20 beats per second he also states that learning to drum fast enables him to drum slower with more accuracy, control  and feel.

So true.  Some of the tastiest drum licks from Bruford and Collins (not necessarily when they were both on Genesis) are the offbeats, the 2's against the 3's, the 3's against the 4's, etc.  As a drummer myself, I have been more inspired by the finesse of offbeat prowess compared to the machine-gun speed of so many others.  Having said that, for absolute unbelievable speed and prowess together, nothing compares to Simon Phillips playing on 'Space Boogie' on Jeff Beck's Here and Back album (1980)...

^How about Michael Walden on 'Led Boots'?Tongue

Oh and thanks for sharing Dean. I enjoyed that - even if it wasn't my cup of tea musically. It was nevertheless very interesting to watchBeer
