Just wondering, how many Americans actually follow both the democratic and republican news networks, on a daily basis ?
if you only follow one or the other, You basically couldn't tell if its better or not, could you.?

I check several of them out from time to time, but I generally try to stay away from mainstream news. I get all my politics related media from several sources on Youtube and try my best to watch videos from Libs, Conservatives, Libertarians, Social-demos, ect. |

I skipped this debate because the other two made me too mad, but when I read about that line I was sad I missed it. On Fox news and impartiality: I scanned the headlines and saw a few saying Obama clearly won last night's debate (but one asked if it would matter), and then saw Fox News' headline, which said Romney came off like a leader and Obama like a monarch. I thought: "yup, I think it's safe to say Obama was the clear winner...." Fox might as well have had "Hey! No fair!" as their headline. |

![]() Venezuela President Hugo Chavez, after winning a fourth term earlier this month, reportedly said he would vote for Obama and that the president would likely vote for him. The socialist-leaning ruler also reportedly called Obama a “good guy.” His support follows that of the Castro family, which has ruled Cuba under a communist dictatorship for more than 50 years. In June, Mariela Castro, the daughter of Cuban President Raul Castro, said in a CNN interview, translated into English: “As a citizen of the world, I would like (Obama) to win.” Edited by AlexDOM - October 23 2012 at 10:46 |

In 2012, Obama apologized for the accidental burning of copies of the Quran, the holy book of Islam. Obama sent the apology in a letter to Afghan President Hamid Karzai. Officials hoped the formal apology would quell violent reactions against U.S. troops in Afghanistan.
Why would you apologize for that?????

Media here in Denmark, seems to believe, that in large parts of US. Most people follow the network representing the view they already hold, making their vote given in advance, due to the fact, that the news they get only strengthens what they already think. So there can never be a landslide victory, unless something really massive happens. If its true or not, I don't know, I have never traveled in US.

A systematic state sponsored book burning is hardly the same thing as an isolated incident of a person setting fire to what is, after all, his property. In this case, it was even accidental. It seems like a stupid thing to even bring up. Regarding Politifact, I think narrowly defining an apology as having to include the words "sorry" or "apologize" is an overly technical way of rating the claim, and ignores how people actually use language. If it was an accident, it seems ridiculous that he'd apologize. If it weren't accidental, saying that he does not condone his actions would be fitting.
