Huh, never heard that one.  I always imagined it sounding like the Muscle of Love album.  Am I close?
Yeah, it is similar, but there are some differences. The production is more live sounding than MOL, not as slick. Also, the Billion Dollar Babies Battle Axe album has a keyboardist (Bob Dolin) as a regular band member, who gets into some almost prog like workouts on the album's second side.
                  It is a terrific album!

Big smileClapThumbs UpHug ... I'm even ready to kiss you ... but I won't. LOL

Me: ... I don't know ... I guess "Dreamboat Annie"? ... Or ... after being at that Brit Floyd concert it could be one of many things from PF.

Listening to it right now, and I agree. This is the song of this day. Although Pink Floyd isn't the perfect band I used to think about all day, Echoes never failed to amaze me as something beautiful and timeless.

Lovely tune and album. It's been a favorite for today some days.

Underrated psych for me. Can I choose two? Been listening to them all week. Both from the surreal Monkees movie Head. Chewing gum as art

Echoes was probably the first pure prog song I loved. Everything I've been into since then has built on the foundation of that song.
