I saw a few posts about cinema here, and I thought to put a new topic about Tv series.
As you all know the last years many many series became very popular, and many people have spend hundreds of hours watching them.
So, although I believe is a tough one, if you want write down your 5 most beloved/favorite TV series...

Here are mine in no order:

Band of Brothers
Friends
How I met your mother
Game of Thrones
Life on Mars

Arrested Development
Seinfeld
The Twilight Zone
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia
The Simpsons
The Office

I don't really watch much tv besides those shows, classic sitcoms, and sports. The order is accurate.

As far as shows that are on right now, "New Girl" is probably my favorite.  Zooey D is a megababe, and the show is laugh-out-loud funny.

I do watch Glee most of the time too, I know that'll get a snicker or two from this crowd.  My wife watches it religiously and I usually join her.

Twin Peaks
Carnivale
Breaking Bad
Deadwood
Monty Python's Flying Circus
Freaks & Geeks
Brideshead Revisited
The Wire
& these three mini-series (five to six hours long):
The Singing Detective
Fanny and Alexander
Angels in America
