I've heard a half-dozen different versions...  some with other vocalists, some with different words, some with different structures...  that's a song that changed a LOT over time, and it's a shame that once they put it out on an EP they no longer felt the need to update it.  As soon as a year or two before the recording, it was much different than the EP version...

I haven't heard any originals versions, but I think the song is absolutely perfect just the way it is.

Oh no, not another DT thread. Don't they have their own fans forum where these sort of questions can be asked. I'm sure you'd get a better response over their.

Hey, I like DT & Octavarian is a very good album but there seems to be an overload of DT threads lately

Obviously the DT fans can't resist to start threads, and the DT bashers can't resist to reply ... I love a good heated discussion

It's a simple concept. You do not want to read DT Threads... just don't read...not even click on the link ... just like me.

God, you'll hate me for being picky, but its not an EP is it, its an album.
I've checked the Archives and they call it an EP too, but what the hell!

It's an EP.  A Change Of Seasons was intended for Images And Words, but never got recorded until post-Awake.  To pad the release out, they threw on some live cover tracks.  Hence, an EP.

And it is even longer than Images and Words!  I believe it is around 59 minutes long, while IAW is around 57???

I know the history of the album already, but its not an EP. Live tracks mixed with studio tracks do not an EP make! Hence a LP!

I've heard it, but I don't have it in my possession at the moment. I'm sort of split between both, though.

"Don't listen to me."

DT refers to it as an EP.  If it wasn't, Octavarium would've been their 9th album, killing all the symbolism.

There must at least be 5 threads where that matter is clarified. I wish people would read AND remember

I don't care what it is... I'd still consider it an album... IE: "Have you heard the album a Change of Seasons?"...

I didn't know that.
Life seemed to him merely like a gallery of how to be.
