I can always make something up, as long as I've made a few notes or the line-notes with the CD are legible in the gloom of the studio. Biggest problem is doing a full day's work and feeling zonked before I start - that's when I cock up

A new year for most, but us we are 1/3rd of the way through the academic year and this series of ALT2. I hope everybody had a good Christmas - and got the music they wanted. Also hoped you go to hear at least one of the unmanned shows we ran each Thursday night of our 4 week break. A lot of new music coming up this Thursday, plus a big raid of the archives. Thanks to Joyce at Cuneiform for supplying us with some excellent albums, several of which are featured here. Thinking about making the Decemberists as our featured artists to take us through to Easter - any thoughts? After featuring Swedish and Brazilian blues, now some Hungarian. And that marvellous drummer Morgan Agren gets featured from a couple of recent releases.

I see you already got Impact Fuze - in fact same Alkotrio just with French drummer, and they sound quite similar

Hobo Blues Band is a Hungarian legend from "old times", sounds a bit dated, but what a nostalgia

... needed to clean yard of snow - this winter is unusually warm here, but last week is snowy,even if not too cold, and it continue to snow day after day. It looks we'll have full-size winter from now. My wife returned from London (she's been there on business trip for some days)yesterday night - enjoyed warm weather and even some sunny hours. I like UK winter

, but not summer though
