Correcting albums info I've found a member called pizdoss: http://www.progarchives.com/Collaborators.asp?id=38024.
This word means..., I doubt there is an English equivalent, but in Russian and Ukranian (he's from Ukraine) it is derivative from the word "c*nt". I hope mighty admins will explain him who he really is.

It's cheekily pejorative in my language as well.

I find that rather interesting from a linguistic point of view. My wife does not like for me to use the c word but I would never use it as insult. Cunninglylinguistically. I'm not sure how pizzdoss or whatever derives from that.

1. To get the picture, imagine some nick with the "c word".
2. Ask Tony R what's in his PM. |

^ I imagine the more accurate translation would be the p-word (rather than the coarser c-word) like the feline image in Slarti's signature.

What does the c word mean in your neck of the woods? Is it always derogatory or is it just slang for female genitalia? It can go both ways here. I would have no idea pizdoss is derogatory if I hadn't heard it here first and will be very careful not to use it in jest or otherwise if I should make it over there one day. I guess he should have picked santorum. Edited by Slartibartfast - January 09 2012 at 18:44 |

It's more like "c*nt" and rather offensive.

In that case his account and ratings should deleted without debate or argument.

Perhaps you're right. Maybe not a complete ban (by IP), but leave him the possibility to register under normal nick. I guess he thought it's funny to have a "cool" nick, and nobody understands the meaning. It was very childish.

By the way, someone should send him a private message and suggest he change his name to Dixville Notch.

I'm really unable to suitably translate it into English slang, wiki offers this, which works to some extent, except that you would have to think it in even more slick terms, like "cool as f*ck" or "I'd hit it (I'd hit me? )". I wouldn't deny it is coarse, it would indeed be injurious towards a regular audience and showy, brash if intentionally chosen as a username. Edited by Ricochet - January 10 2012 at 04:23 |
